如何同時滿足大人與小孩的遊玩心情呢？這次主題遊程推薦一條親子路線，橫跨新竹縣的湖口、新埔、關西，讓大人逛老街、嚐美食，小孩子則可以親近動物！事不宜遲，出發吧！
This theme itinerary is a parent-child tour. The area includes Hukou, Xinpu, and Guanxi in Hsinchu County. Parents can walk through the old streets and taste delicious food, while children can get close to animals! Let’s go!
這是一條活的老街This is an Animated Old Street
因為鐵路開發而崛起的湖口老街，保留了以紅磚為建材的巴洛克建築，整齊的拱型走廊非常有特色！由於這裡的店家多由在地人自行經營，美食與產品皆有在地風格，有別於一般觀光老街。
Hukou Old Street has risen due to the development of railway. It retains the Baroque architecture made of red bricks. Most of the stores are run by local people, and the food and products are full of local style, which is different from other old streets.
老街的信仰中心為湖口三元宮，主祀三官大帝，而廟宇後方擁有大片停車場，建議遊客於此處停車，再走路至老街。
The belief center of the old street is Hukou Sanyuan Temple. Visitors can park in the parking lot behind the temple.
從玻璃到陶器的手工藝品 The Handicrafts – Glass and Pottery
老街上手工藝品店林立，有玻璃工坊、古董家具店、茶杯茶藝館、柑仔店，亦有提供手拉坯體驗的陶玩店，還有一間可以免費參觀的玩偶公仔博物館，喜愛藝術品的遊客定要來這裡尋寶一番！
In the old street, there are a glass workshop, antique furniture store, tea house, grocery store, figure museum, and pottery DIY store. If you are a fan of the artwork, don’s miss this place!
懷舊美食一字排開 A Series of Nostalgic food
湖口老街美食以客家風味為主，除了道地客家料理外，亦有客家湯圓、燒仙草、豆花、蜜餞等小吃。
Besides traditional Hakka cuisine, there are also Hakka tangyuan, hot fairy-grass jelly, douhua, preserved fruits, and other snacks.
仔細看，街上有座復興戲院，主要顧客為當時裝甲營區的阿兵哥，如今已改為客家餐廳。
If you take a closer look, there is Fuxing Theater on the old street. In the past, the main customers were the soldiers of the armored camp, now it has become a Hakka restaurant.
來教堂安靜的美拍 Quietly Taking Beautiful Photos in the Church
老街盡頭的老湖口天主堂亦是可看亮點，建築採以簡潔風格的現代主義，呈現簡樸莊嚴的氛圍。
The Hukou Old Church at the end of the old street is also a must-visit place. The architecture is modernism with a simple style, presenting a solemn atmosphere.
爬上樓梯，可進入教堂主體，二樓則有教堂文物展，適合放慢腳步、靜靜參觀。
Walking upstairs, you can go into the main body of the church. There is an exhibition of church cultural relics on the second floor, which is suitable for slowing down and visiting.
吃一碗知名在地美食麵 Taste the Well-known Local Noodle
離開湖口老街，來到號稱仙草之鄉的關西，可以品嚐到仙草茶、仙草冰、燒仙草、仙草麵等相關美食。不能錯過的還有知名麵鋪「ㄤ咕麵」，以油蔥醬油乾拌麵擄獲遊客的味蕾。
Leaving Hukou Old Street, you can taste mesona tea, mesona shaved ice, hot fairy-grass jelly, and mesona noodles in Guanxi. Don’t forget to visit the well-known restaurant “Anggu Noodle.” Many tourists love their dry noodles with shallot and soy sauce.
饒富歷史的百年之橋 The Century-old Historical Bridge
以石塊建造、擁有五個拱形橋柱的東安古橋，興建於日治時代，為當地重要的歷史地標。這裡也是電影《我的少女時代》的拍攝場景喔！
The Dongan Ancient Bridge, built of stones and having five arched columns, was built during the Japanese colonial period. It is an important historical landmark, and also the filming scene of the movie “Our Times!”
欣賞完東安古橋，不妨也在牛欄河親水公園走走，步道平緩好走，還能欣賞牛欄河靜靜流過的美景，令人心情放鬆。
Walking in Niulanhe Riverside Park is also a good choice and will make you feel relaxed. The trail is easy to walk, and you can admire the beautiful scene of the river flowing through.

如果還想再多看動物一眼，六福村裡頭亦有動物園，可以搭火車觀賞草食動物，也可以搭遊覽車近距離觀察獅子與老虎喔！
If you want to see animals for a longer time, there is also a zoo in Leofoo Village. You can take a train to see herbivore or a tour bus to see lions and tigers!
