石岡擁有豐富的自然生態，並有全國知名的石岡水壩、東豐自行車綠廊、九房童話世界3D彩繪村、情人木橋、梅子鐵橋、土牛客家文化館、五福臨門神木等好玩景點；還有石岡傳統美食小舖、蜂巢蛋糕、紅麴龍眼米糕、仙塘跡景觀餐廳、石山丘吐司等好吃美食；此外亦有品質優良的金碧椪柑、高接梨、義大利葡萄、甜柿及柳松菇等好買農產，值得細細品嚐、用心領略。
Shigang has abundant natural ecology. There are the well-known Shigang Reservoir, Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way, Jiu Fang 3D Village, Lovers Wooden Bridge, Plum Iron Bridge, Tuniu Hakka Cultural Hall, Wufulinmen Sacred Tree; speaking of delicious food, there are Shi Gang Traditional Gourmet Eatery, honeycomb cake, sweet red yeast and longan rice cake, Xian Tang Ji Nong Yuan Restaurant, and Shi Shan Qiu’s toast; in addition, there are also the high-quality Jin Bi Ponkan, grafted pear, Italian grape, persimmon, brown swordbelt, and many other agricultural products; these are all worth visiting and tasting.
為創新觀光亮點，108年開始推動「石岡花漾藝術節」，打造全國最璀璨的花漾水森林燈會，讓食水嵙休閒農業區、綠六廣場、東豐自行車綠廊、情人木橋及鵲橋，成為超吸睛打卡景點，並充滿閃亮亮的祝福。展期自聖誕前夕，橫跨元旦、春節假期及元宵節，吸引各地遊客蒞臨，享受一場繽紛浪漫的藝術饗宴！
In order to create a new tourism highlight with the dazzling water forest light festival, Shigang has been promoting “Shigang Light Festival” since 2019. Shi Shui Ke Leisure Agriculture Area, Lu Liu Plaza, Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way, Lovers Wooden Bridge, and Magpie Bridge had become the attractive check in hotspots. The period of the light festival started from Christmas Eve, spanning New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year holidays, and Lantern Festival; it attracted tourists from everywhere to enjoy the romantic artistic festival!
而109年舉辦的中部首場「石岡熱氣球嘉年華」，則選在大甲溪畔的土牛運動公園舉辦，讓遊客不用翻山越嶺跑至臺東，也能在臺中欣賞到壯觀的熱氣球，可說是別具意義。大甲溪是大臺中的母親之河，其源自於雪山與南湖大山，帶來純淨無瑕的水，集結於石岡水壩，供應大臺中的民生用水。它的美景也讓東豐自行車綠廊遠近馳名，每年吸引超過1,000萬人次造訪，值得遊客透過熱氣球體驗活動，從與以往不同的高空視野一覽「大甲溪」豐富多元的面貌，感受腳下源源不絕、生機無限的大甲溪精神。
The first “Shigang Hot Air Balloon Festival” in central Taiwan in 2020 was held at Tu Niu Sports Park by Dajia River. Tourists can enjoy the spectacular hot air balloons in Taichung without having to go over the mountain to Taitung. Dajia River is the mother river of Taichung. Its source comes from Snow Mountain and Nanhu Mountain. The pure and flawless water gathers at the Shigang Reservoir and supplies water for the residents in Taichung. Its gorgeous view attracts more than 10 million visitors to the famous Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way every year. It is worthwhile for tourists to experience hot air balloons, see the diverse appearance of Dajia River from a high altitude, and feel the vibrant spirit of it.
